Mobile apps for iPhone and Android

Install the Vocivo app, sign in with a QR code, take calls from the lock screen, and set up how your calls ring when the app is closed.

The Vocivo app puts your business number on your iPhone or Android phone. Calls ring like ordinary phone calls, even when the phone is locked, and you call out with your company’s caller ID. Your personal number stays private.

Install and sign in

  1. Install the Vocivo app on your iPhone or Android phone.
  2. Choose Scan company setup QR and scan the code an administrator shows you, or sign in with your email and password.
  3. Allow the microphone, and allow notifications so calls can ring when the app is closed. Allowing contacts is optional.

The app stays signed in on a phone you use every day, so nobody retypes a password each morning. If your company runs its own Vocivo server, choose My company’s server in the app and enter its address.

Incoming calls use the phone’s own call screen, so you can answer from the lock screen or a headset. The tabs across the bottom are Dial Pad, Contacts, Recents, Messages and Settings. During a call you can:

  • mute, use the speaker or a Bluetooth headset, and open the keypad for menus;
  • put the caller on hold, and take a second call while you are on one;
  • transfer straight away, or speak to your colleague first and then hand over;
  • add a third person and merge the calls;
  • record, when you need to and your role allows it.

Calls when the app is closed

You do not need to keep the app open. When a call arrives, Vocivo sends a notification that wakes the phone and rings it. Settings › Calls when app is closed shows whether call alerts are working, with a button to turn them on.
