Messaging and notifications

Vocivo keeps your conversations in one place: texts with customers from your business number, messages between colleagues, and the alerts that make sure a call or a voicemail never goes unnoticed.

Texting customers

Send and receive texts and pictures from your company number, in the web app under Messages and in the mobile app. Each person texts from their own outgoing number, or from the company default number if they have none.

An administrator turns texting on for each number under Messaging. The page shows, step by step, what is done and what is still waiting, and each number is marked Texting on or Texting off.

Opt-outs: STOP, START and HELP

When a customer replies STOP, they are opted out of texts from that number straight away, and Vocivo will not send them another until they reply START. HELP replies are recognised too. You do not need to keep a list yourself.

Messages between colleagues

Message a colleague by their extension, from the web or the app. It is a quick way to say “can you take the call on line two?” without leaving your desk.

Notifications

Incoming calls: On a phone, a notification wakes the app and rings it, even when it is closed. In the web app, an incoming call shows on every page, with a browser notification when the tab is in the background.
Voicemail and messages: Recorded voicemails and messages taken by the AI receptionist arrive in the person’s voicemail inbox, on the web and in the app, until they are marked as read.
Meeting invitations: Invited people get an email with the details and a calendar file, and an update if the details change.
Emergency call alerts: When someone dials an emergency number, the contacts you chose under Emergency calling are alerted on screen, by email and by text.
